Single father, Weston Parker is set in his ways, and raising his daughter is his top priority. But his ten-year-old feisty little girl is growing up faster than he ever realized. Her go-getter attitude is one he's seen before--mainly on himself. When she starts trading in her ponytails for makeup, Weston realizes he just might be in over his head.

Dedicated and driven veterinarian, Timber Sellers always knew that she'd head back home, but she wasn't quite ready for it to happen so soon. Running into the stubborn and bossy Weston from her high school days doesn't make it any better either. But when she meets his spunky daughter, Timber knows she's right where she's supposed to be. As Timber grows closer to Weston's daughter, his rough exterior softens. Suddenly, the heat between them explodes and neither can deny the attraction. Weston always goes after what he wants, and this time, he wants a future with Timber.

I hate to leave reviews like this because I know the heart and effort that goes into writing a book, but unfortunately this one fell flat for me. The book felt forced in many ways, and I believe that it is because of the quick pace of the story, the lack of any angst or trials for the characters outside of the first few pages, and the contrived "country talk". It all gave it more of a fairytale vibe than a relatable one. It was almost as if this book was written by someone who has little experience with the country, outside of country music. It all just made it difficult to connect with the characters, and in the end made me apathetic.

I am giving it three stars because there is a lot of potential with the characters, and the story at heart is a good one. We just need to be shown more, instead of told, and the characters definitely need to encounter a trial or two.

So I say read it if you like sweet country romances, with no angst, and a fairytale feel. Just because it fell flat for me, doesn’t mean you won’t love it.

I really liked this book. It was a quick read. The book had a great story. It is down to earth and very real. Very relatable if you are from a small town. The characters were down to earth. You feel like you could be part of the story.
Weston is all for repeating fun activities with Timber, “me either but don’t get me wrong, I’ll roll around in the hay with you any day,” he says with a wink." I loved Weston, I fell in love with his cowboy charm.
This book was awesome ... All of Casey's books are wonderful ... they keep you wondering what will happen next ..... I can usually read her books in 2 days ..... She is an awesome person and a great writer ........
I don't even know where to start! I'm in love! Weston and Timber are a dream come true and Bryndle is definitely a strong minded sweet peach. Can't wait for the next book 😘😘😘
Weston is trying to raise his daughter and work a farm. Plus he is a horse whisperer to the wild horses. Timber moves back home to take over her dad's vet clinic. She is also the sister to Weston's best friend and right hand farm guy. Their relationship moves fast but is just what this cowboy needs.
Oh I love a cowboy romance. Weston Parker is a single dad of a 10 yr old girl he used to ride broncs runs a peach farm and has resigned himself to focusing on his daughter. Timber is back to take over her dad's vet clinic and falls in love with Weston's daughter and then Weston. Loved this one had a little bit of everything, ranching, rodeo, friendship and romance
This book has been sitting in my iPad for a while now..I downloaded it because of the reviews and I love a real cowboy book...and it didn't disappoint! It was heartwarming and so sweet, but with just the right amount of everything...all the characters were people you wish you knew. I didn't want to stop reading it and I read every romance out there..they all said exactly what you wanted them to say so there was no angst..it did what a great romance is supposed to do for a reader..take you away for a couple of relaxing hours..I loved the storyline, the love, and the real goodness in everyone's heart.
